Visiting Researcher

Henrietta is a visiting researcher with ICCCAD, in Dhaka during June 2022. A candidate on the Environmental Technology MSc at Imperial College London (Global Environmental Change and Policy option), she is here conducting qualitative field research for her thesis. The thesis seeks to assess and propose recommendations to improve the effectiveness of current migration as adaptation to climate change strategies – with a focus on permanent, internal, forced movement – and hone in on the lived experience of those being affected by this phenomenon. Her undergraduate degree, from Cambridge University, was in French and Spanish. Since graduating she has worked on a variety of government relations and strategic communications roles, with a focus on corporate sustainability, public-private partnerships, and ESG.
