South Asia Resilience Hub
ICCCAD believes that placing local constituencies from local geographies at the center of the discussion allows front-line leaders to share their local adaptation strategies and internal knowledge and experience to engage with external knowledge and enhance their understanding of the impact of climate. Movement building is most effective within your own locality. Organizing constituencies within local geographies makes it easier to understand the nature of power, engage with it, demand accountability and be accountable.
The South Asia Resilience Hub aims
- Opportunity for frontline constituencies, living and working in vulnerable geographies to enhance capabilities to participate, engage, discuss and lead locally
- Opportunity for external knowledge to engage with local knowledge
- Opportunity to engage with local and global influencers to strengthen adaptive strategies of constituencies in specific geographies
