Visiting Researcher
Nabilah is a Visiting Researcher at ICCCAD, pursuing her Master of Arts degree in Climate and Society at Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Science. She holds a BA in Anthropology from Hunter College, and is passionate about understanding the complex relationships between people and their environment. Nabilah’s current research focuses on conservation and management of vital natural resources, particularly finite freshwater resources, as well as global climate change adaptation, development of sustainable agriculture practices, and disaster resilient infrastructure in vulnerable regions and communities. She is also enthusiastic about effective communication of climate information, translating and applying scientific research to real-world scenarios to help create long-lasting positive impacts.
