Rafia Anjum Rimi

Research Officer

Rafia Anjum Rimi is working as a Research Officer at the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD). She is a passionate Urban and Regional Planning graduate from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET). Currently, she is pursuing her MSc in Climate Change and Development from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). Her experience spans research, geographic analysis, and project management, with a deep commitment to addressing environmental and social challenges.

Rafia has contributed to significant projects of the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB), and the German Red Cross, and has been involved with organizations like EIMS Ltd., Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Center, CEGIS, etc. Her work on the feasibility study of the Cold Wave Early Action Protocol development, identifying heatwave-vulnerable areas, and understanding community needs in Bangladesh highlights her dedication to localized climate adaptation strategies.
