Communication Officer
Araf Al Mehedi is a communication professional specializing in strategic communication, content creation, visual storytelling, and development planning. He has over three years of experience working with international NGOs, the private sector, and public sector development projects, particularly in the areas of climate change, urban resilience, and sustainable development.
Araf completed his Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Rural Planning at Khulna University and is currently pursuing his Master’s in the same discipline. His academic background enables him to bridge climate change, urban and rural development, and sustainability through effective communication strategies.
He previously worked at Tiller, an urban planning firm, where he contributed to projects for GIZ, DNCC, and UDD. During his undergraduate studies, he also freelanced with organizations including BRAC, ActionAid, ETH Zurich, Ds Flix, and Flair Films.
Araf is skilled in developing content across multiple platforms, ranging from photography and videography to infographics, IEC/BCC materials, publications, and social media. He also has hands-on experience in branding and organizing workshops.
