ICCCAD at COP29

This year, as the world convenes in Baku, Azerbaijan, for the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29), ICCCAD is proud to participate under the rallying call of “In Solidarity for a Green World.” This theme resonates deeply with our mission to foster global collaboration and action in the face of the climate crisis. We are excited to announce that ICCCAD will be hosting the Saleemul Huq Action Research Exchange (SHARE) Hub at COP29, a pavilion dedicated to catalyzing impactful exchanges of knowledge, enhancing capacity building, and forging partnerships for climate action.

The SHARE Hub stands as a testament to our commitment to addressing the critical issue of Loss and Damage, which remains a central focus of our efforts. This year, we are determined to elevate the conversation and push for tangible progress in this area, bringing together a diverse mix of global leaders, policymakers, researchers, and activists to drive forward our collective quest for climate justice.

We invite you to join us in Baku, to stand in solidarity for a green world. The ICCCAD team will be hosting a variety of sessions, workshops, and dialogues aimed at tackling the most pressing climate challenges of our time. Together, we can make COP29 a turning point in our journey towards a more resilient and sustainable future.
