Junior Research Officer
Jubied Alam is working as a Junior Research Officer at ICCCAD. He holds a Master of Science in Water Resources Development from the Institute of Water and Flood Management, BUET. His expertise mainly focuses on effective water resource management to enhance agricultural resilience, developing spatial mapping tools, and identifying and locally led solutions to mitigate climate impacts. Before joining ICCCAD, Jubied worked as a Research Associate at RISE, BUET, where he contributed to improving water management in Southwest Bangladesh through physical interventions and community participation. He has extensive field experience in coastal Bangladesh, specializing in climate adaptation, community facilitation, and stakeholder engagement. Jubied has presented his research at several international conferences, including the American Geophysical Union and International Conference on Water and Flood Management Conferences. His work focuses on hydrological interventions, watershed sustainability, and climate-driven adaptation strategies in vulnerable delta regions. He is proficient in integrating qualitative and quantitative data analysis for developing geospatial arguments.
