Programme Coordinator
With over eight years of experience, Mr. Md. Hafizur Rahman is a program coordinator at ICCCAD, a climate-resilient urban development practitioner and researcher specializing in program and project management, climate finance, and strategic coordination within the climate change and environmental sectors. He has a proven record of managing multi-stakeholder initiatives involving government, national, and international organizations such as BRAC, GCA, ACIAR, and CIMMYT. Hafizur is passionate about the human-environment interface, focusing on climate vulnerability, adaptation, migration, displacement, and sustainable development. Currently, he leads two active projects and contributes to the global discourse through peer-reviewed publications and policy-relevant research and advocacy.
Since 2016, Hafizur Rahman has actively engaged with the Gobeshona Programme. He is currently involved with the Policy Support Program, where he has contributed to the development of a knowledge management strategic plan, report writing, and government liaison efforts. Hafizur’s expertise and interests have also led him to serve as a researcher for the Gobeshona Young Research Program.
